Front of House Operator
Salary scale £26,038 to £26,642 per annum
Full time: 75 hours per fortnight working in a rota system, including evenings and weekends.
Come and work with our friendly and supportive Front of House team at Girton College! We are looking for an energetic, personable and conscientious team member to assist in the efficient and smooth running of the Front of House activities. This includes supporting the provision of daily catering services to students, Fellows and staff, as well as external guests of the College and VIPs at a range of events and functions.
This role would suit candidates with experience in a customer facing role, looking to take on more responsibility. Knowledge and experience of working in a catering/conference environment is preferred but not essential, as our experienced team will provide training in all aspects of the role. The successful candidate will have good interpersonal skills, able to work with minimal supervision, taking responsibility for a whole range of tasks - and happy to manage a busy workload.
We offer 34 days annual leave, free on-site parking, free uniform, free meals on duty, free use of gym and swimming pool, priority places at a local nursery plus other benefits commensurate with working for a large Cambridge University College.
