Visits & Open Days for Prospective Postgraduates

You are very welcome to visit the College and experience Girton for yourself

Postgraduate Open Days

The University and Colleges offer Virtual and in-person Postgraduate Open Days. Girton usually hosts an in-person open day each September.  No need to register for the in-person Open Day.

Online sessions are between 11-15 November.  Girton will participate in a panel with a number of other Colleges at 1.15 pm (GMT) on 11 November.  Go to the link above for more information and to register for the Virtual sessions.

Individual Visits

Please email us if you would like to arrange an individual tour of the Main Site.  We welcome prospective postgrads to visit at any pre-arranged time throughout the year with the only restrictions being in May/June.

You are also most welcome to come to College to look around in your own time. Visitors are welcome to look around the College grounds without an appointment between 9:00am and 5:00pm on any day. You may ask at the Main Site Porters' Lodge for a self-tour pamphlet.  The College is closed to visitors in December and during the May/June exam period.

"Discover Cambridge" webinars for Prospective PGs

The University hosts a series of helpful webinars in March each year called Discover Cambridge.  They are designed to answer any type of question you might have about applying to come to Cambridge.  You can find more information here as well as links to this year's webinars.
