College Office Assistant
Part-time, 28 hours per week (to be worked over 4 or 5 days per week)
Permanent contract
USSS points 30-34, £27,644 – £30,805 FTE (pro rata, and depending on skills and experience)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in the College Office of Girton College, and to be involved with all areas of work that fall under the remit of the department, including supporting the work of the Mistress, the Secretary to Council, the Executive Assistant and Head of College Office and the Chaplain. This role would suit both experienced administrators seeking a new challenge, and graduates looking for an opportunity to gain experience in the wide variety of areas covering College life and governance. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an appropriate level of experience working in an administrative role in a busy office environment, in addition to excellent IT skills, the ability to prioritise, plan and multitask effectively, excellent customer service skills in addition to diplomacy, tact, and a professional manner.
