Girton College’s annual telethon took place from Wednesday 3 April to Sunday 21 April 2024. During the three weeks, our brilliant team of 15 student callers contacted Girtonians all over the world to reconnect, network and raise funds.
Our callers had more than 550 wonderful conversations with our alumni. Thanks to the generosity of the Girton community, the team raised £268,000 from more than 350 donors.
Saranka Maheswaran (2023, HSPS), one of this year’s student callers, said:
“Being able to speak to the alumni was a lovely experience and it meant I found out a lot more about Girton and its history as a college. It was also very exciting to hear the different avenues alumni have pursued since leaving.”
