Last year, we marked the 120th anniversary of Joan Robinson's birth and the 40th anniversary of her passing. In her honour, the Joan Robinson Society at Girton College has committed to establishing a series of workshops. Our aim is to host at least two workshops annually—one focused on Joan Robinson's contributions and their relevance to contemporary issues, and the other examining the broader 'Cambridge tradition' in economics. The Society will convene prior to each workshop to discuss the work of our invited speakers.
